Terms of Service & Acceptable Use Policy

These terms govern the registration, renewal, transfer and management of domain names and related services provided by Regihoster ("Regihoster", "we", "us" or "our"). By submitting a domain request, registering a domain or otherwise using our services, you ("you", "the registrant" or "the customer") agree to be bound by this agreement.

1. Acceptance of terms

This agreement constitutes a binding contract between you and Regihoster. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

Where the registry operator for a given top-level domain (TLD) imposes specific policies, those policies are incorporated by reference and apply in addition to these terms. In the event of a conflict, the applicable registry policy prevails to the extent required.

2. Description of services

Regihoster provides domain registration and management services. Domain names are registered through our ICANN-accredited registrar partner, which acts as the sponsoring registrar of record. Regihoster is not itself an ICANN-accredited registrar. The sponsoring registrar of record for any domain can be verified through any public WHOIS lookup service, and will be identified on request. Our services include, without limitation:

• checking the availability of domain names;
• registering domain names on your behalf with the relevant registry;
• renewing and managing registered domain names;
• facilitating inbound and outbound domain transfers;
• providing DNS management and related technical services.

Availability results presented during search are indicative. A domain is only secured once registration has been completed and confirmed by us. Submitting a domain request does not by itself reserve, register or guarantee a domain name.

The accredited registrar of record for the domains you register can be verified through any public WHOIS lookup service, and we will identify the sponsoring registrar on request. As a registrant you are also protected by ICANN's Registrants' Rights and Responsibilities and Registrants' Benefits and Responsibilities.

3. Domain registration agreement

When you register a domain through Regihoster, you become the registrant of that domain for the registration period selected, subject to the rules of the applicable registry. You acknowledge and agree that:

• registration of a domain does not confer any rights beyond the right to use that domain for the registration period;
• you are responsible for ensuring that your registration and use of a domain does not infringe the rights of any third party;
• certain TLDs impose eligibility requirements (for example, local presence or sector restrictions) that you must meet;
• registries and regulatory bodies may modify the rules applicable to a TLD, and such changes may affect your domain.

4. Renewal & expiration

Domain names are registered for a fixed term and must be renewed to remain active. You are responsible for renewing your domains before their expiration date. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of expiration using the contact details on file, but we are not liable for any failure or delay in delivery of such notices.

If a domain is not renewed before expiration, it may be suspended, enter a registry-defined redemption or grace period, and ultimately be deleted or released for re-registration by third parties. Restoration during a redemption period, where available, may incur additional fees set by the registry.

5. Transfers

You may transfer eligible domains to or from Regihoster in accordance with the applicable registry's transfer policy. To transfer a domain away, you must ensure the domain is unlocked, obtain the authorisation (EPP/auth) code, and confirm the transfer as required. We may decline or reverse a transfer where it would breach a registry policy, where the domain is subject to a dispute, or where there is evidence of fraud or unauthorised access.

Newly registered or recently transferred domains may be subject to a transfer lock period as defined by the registry.

6. Fees & payment

Fees for registration, renewal, transfer and restoration depend on the TLD and the registration period. Applicable fees will be confirmed to you before any payment is taken. Submitting a domain request through our website does not create a payment obligation; an order is only finalised once you have approved the confirmed pricing and we have completed the registration.

Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, fees paid are non-refundable once a domain has been registered, renewed or restored, because the corresponding registry charges are incurred at that point.

7. Registrant obligations

You agree to:

• provide accurate, current and complete registration and contact information;
• keep that information up to date throughout the life of the domain;
• maintain the security of your account credentials and promptly notify us of any unauthorised access;
• comply with all applicable laws and with this agreement, including the Acceptable Use Policy below.

Providing false or misleading information, or failing to respond to verification requests, may result in suspension or cancellation of the affected domains.

8. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms. You may not use, and may not permit any third party to use, a domain or service provided by Regihoster to:

• distribute spam or other unsolicited bulk or commercial communications;
• conduct phishing, pharming or any activity intended to deceive users into disclosing credentials or personal data;
• host, distribute or link to malware, ransomware, spyware or other malicious code;
• infringe the intellectual property rights, trademarks or other rights of any third party;
• publish or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that depicts or promotes the exploitation of minors;
• engage in fraud, financial scams, or the sale of counterfeit or illegal goods;
• operate botnet command-and-control infrastructure or facilitate network attacks;
• violate applicable export controls, sanctions or other laws.

This list is illustrative and not exhaustive. We reserve the right to determine, in our reasonable judgement, whether a use violates this policy.

9. Abuse reporting & suspension

We operate an abuse desk that reviews reports of policy violations. Abuse may be reported at any time through our abuse reporting form or by email to abuse@regihoster.com.

Where we identify or are notified of a violation, we may, at our discretion and proportionate to the circumstances: request remediation from the registrant; place the domain on hold or suspend associated services; lock or disable the domain; or, in cases of serious or ongoing abuse, cancel the registration. Where there is an imminent threat to users or the public, we may take immediate action and notify the registrant afterwards. We cooperate with legitimate requests from competent law enforcement and regulatory authorities.

10. Domain disputes

Domain names may be subject to dispute resolution policies adopted by the relevant registry, including the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) and similar mechanisms. By registering a domain, you agree to be bound by the dispute resolution policy applicable to that domain. We will comply with the decisions of accredited dispute resolution providers and with valid court orders.

11. WHOIS & data accuracy

Registries maintain WHOIS (or RDAP) records associating domain names with registrant and technical contact information. You are required to provide and maintain accurate WHOIS data. We process and publish this data in accordance with applicable rules and our Privacy Policy, applying data-protection safeguards where required.

We may, where permitted, offer or apply measures to limit the public display of personal data. Providing deliberately false WHOIS information, or failing to correct inaccurate information after notice, is a violation of this agreement and may result in suspension of the domain.

12. Warranties & limitation of liability

Our services are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Regihoster shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the services. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid by you for the affected service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, in registry or regulatory requirements, or in applicable law. The current version is always available on this page, with the "last updated" date shown above. Material changes will take effect upon publication or as otherwise notified. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws applicable at Regihoster's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your place of residence. The courts competent for Regihoster's principal place of business shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to applicable mandatory rules.
